They fit records just right. In a car trunk? When I moved my collection over 900 miles, we used a rental truck and put the boxes of records on the bottom of everything else (I used to be a mover). For a car trunk I might wrap the boxes in a thick blanket or styrofoam. Other than that, keep them out of the sun, and pack them so they do not lean but stand straight up. I'm not sure at what temperature they begin to warp, but I have known people who have stored records in boxes in their hot garages for years and had no problems. Good luck and a safe move.
