I want to become a recording artist and I am going to be taking vocal lessons. I would like some tips on how to achieve my goal of becoming a recording artist!
I also thought I should mention that I have taken 5 years of piano lessons. been in choir since elementary, done show choir, and I’ve auditioned for American Idol twice!

I would love to find some old 78s of children’s narrated stories. Also some kids songs also on old 78s. I used to have a few as a child, myself. I was hoping to find out some information about used vinyl record stores in Russia, Moscow. I am going there this week and looking for some titles on the Melodiya label – I am interested in Jazz, Rock and other styles of music, but looking for informations (names or addresses or areas)
about record stores in Moscow. I really hope you can help me. I am only looking for old records, not CDs. are thre markets? someone told me they saw some stores there a while back but had no further info on it. Can someone help?

It’s a rap song, I believe from the ’90s called ‘Night Shift’ (I think that’s the title). The song begins ‘Allow me to propose a toast…’ other lyrics, in part ‘women are wicked, women are deceiving, women are also ladies of the evening, swinging those hips softly as they step’, the chorus simple ‘I got her on the night shift’. I think the song was a hit on the charts. It’s driving me crazy trying to track this song down!
