If an artist pays for all recording costs, then gets album signed to a label, who owns the masters?
A quick question.. If an unsigned artist or bands pays for all recording costs for an album, shops it and gets signed, WHO is the owner of the masters??? The artist??? The label for a certain amount of time??? If anyone could clarify this, I would appreciate it.
What are the costs of vinyl records these days?
I have a bunch of 12′ and 7′ vinyl records and I don’t know the value of them, I was planning on putting them up on kijiji for someone else to enjoy. But I don’t know how much I should sell them for?
Anyone have any ideas
