How do I remove smoke smell from vinyl records?
Hi.
I just bought some 7″ records off eBay, but they have arrived stinking of smoke! I’ve had a look at different ways to remove smoke smells from different things, but not vinyl records. Does anybody know what I can do to get rid of it. it’s not too strong, but it still smells and i hate it!

Also, how do i remove smoke from the sleeves. Will soap and water be ok, or will it damage them? I’m thinking it will be ok.
What sort of percentage royalties do recording artists get from CD sales?
I assume that it varies depending on what sort of deal you have but what’s a typical percentage? If you fancy breaking down the CD cost into what would go to the retailer, label etc. then I’d be really interested to know. Do artists selling CDs at gigs take a larger percentage of sales?
