Hey guys I’m 16 years old and I’m wondering how to get a record company to notice me?
I don’t have a band and I don’t rap, I kind of just sing pop music.

What is the basic amount advanced to a artist when getting a major label record deal?
Yeah so basically what is the usual amout an artist is payed (advanced) when they sign with a major label. I want to know a lump sum, I dont need anyone explaining to me about how bands dont really make any money. I more interested in just what they usually advance. Keep in mind the record deal would be for a 5 member boy band.
