I know that they have scouts to find talent, but who has the final word as to whether or not an artist gets signed?

I’ve looked on different sites and, they don’t say anything.

I write and sing my own music and want to get noticed please help me!

I want to be a successful rap/hip hop artist but I’m new to the music industry and I don’t know what steps I need to take in order to get signed and become successful besides just buying rap beats and creating tracks. Any help would be great.

What is the most proffesional way to send a record label your music? And how do you get them to listen to it?

I have been studying voice for years and consider myself quite talented. I am in my early 20′s, have a good image, and am a good performer. I also know how to write my own songs, etc. I have fronted bands before but it is very hard to get 4 other people to be as dedicated as you are and to get the ball rolling. I have realized that I have to depend on myself, but I don’t know where to start.

4 EXAMPLE, IF A RECORD LABEL SIGNED U UNDER A $3 MILLION CONTRACT, DOES THAT MONEY GOES TO U? OR IS THAT WHAT U GONNA OWN THEM?

Hey guys I’m 16 years old and I’m wondering how to get a record company to notice me?

I don’t have a band and I don’t rap, I kind of just sing pop music.
