When we are gone in choir we have to do this worksheet thing on currents events in music. Now it can’t just be any news. It has to be about something we can connect back to choir like a new opera or something of the sort. Any ideas?

I have a website where I put news about all sorts of bands (whether I like them or not) and some of the bands’ websites don’t have up-to-date news. I’m getting really tired of this, I’ve tried Google and I can’t find anything! Can someone tell me where I can find music news so I can update my site?

I know to get started in a music career you have backing from the industry because they need money to produce their music. But once you’re earning millions of dollars why do they need to continue answering to record label executives?

We have to do our own weather reports and I would like some theme music like the stuff on news reports.

Maybe I have got it wrong and it is not US records i mean – it is the ones with the larger hole in the centre of the vinyl. Maybe jukebox records?

I’m not a dj but i appreciate electronic music (trance, house, downtempo) and love indie rock and hip hop heavily influenced by turn tables & mixing. I love the warm sound of vinyl. I know I need speakers, a turn table, and reciever. Does anyone have any affordable recommendations?

When i lay down my vocal tracks I prefer to be all on my own, with nobody around that can hear me. Howver this isnt about being shy about singing cause i do gigs no prob.
But when Im perfecting a vocal track i dont want ANYONE listening to me. Not even sound engineer (no point anyway cuz laptop home recording)
Is anyone else like this?
If so, where do you record your vocals? ??

I have become disillusioned with MP3s and would like to build my classical music collection with vinyl records. I know absolutely nothing about vinyl records or players. Would someone be willing to nod my in the proper direction as to where to find a decent player and classical vinyl records? Or comprehensive information? I appreciate it! Thanks!

I have a really good collection of vinyl records. But I am relocating and can’t take everything with me. I managed to find places to sell my stuff but I have no clue where to sell my vinyl records. Please advise.
