I keep on hearing about auto-tune but I’m still not quite sure what it is. Can anybody help me out?

Also, I know it’s used when artist record in-studio. But does it work live? Like can they pull it onstage and plug the mic into auto-tune?

If I want to be a recording artist when I grow up, and open my own recording studio what will I have to do? what degree would I get? what are the chances of me actually getting to do it? and what are the chances I get to record the kind of music I love.? I’ve always wanted to open my own studio. I’m quite young so just give me your opinion??

What male and female vocalists have made the best, or the most popular, recording of the classic song ” Misty ” ?

personally i think the best would be cat stevens, but that’s my opinion

I started off writing lyrics for various genres of music. I compose music from scratch with the help of a few others. I play the piano and use keyboards and live samples.
Many people have shown interest in our recordings, and my team has been working on an album featuring Hip-Hop, R&B, Funk and Soul music styles. We have integrated Classic Rock and Electronic Pop styled tracks into the collection as well.
Its a lot of hard work, especially when you are your own artist, manager, creative consultant and marketing team. There are many more jobs than that; those are all of the hundreds of tiny names that you find on your favorite artists album inserts. All of those people are very important, but they cost.
So in the absence of a proper budget, I am trying something different. I am giving you the fans a chance to give advice and creative input on my upcoming album!
The best answer will recieve a copy of our works! You never know, we could be the next big thing!

Who is your favorite female recording artist and why?

…Unpredictably, when you hear mentioned a certain song, you can hum the melody, sing the words, recall aspects of the biography of the singer(s), & even mentally SEE the cd/album details, but the NAME of the person sometimes totally blanks out….then you say “of course!” the second you “remember” or else someone tells you who it is…
