I have just started collecting records again and don’t know how to best store my vinyl. Many times I am mailed the record next to but not inside the jacket. Is there a reason for this? Will the jacket get a circular imprint from the record? Should I store my records outside their jackets? What’s the best temperature for storing vinyl? Are there products for audiophiles that are worth buying, that improve vinyl storage? Thanks.

Ive been cleaning my house and found these old records from the 70′s and 80′s. They’re useless to me as i dont have a record player. Are they worth keeping?

These girls are great at singing and I feel that they have a lot of talent, not to mention they both gorgeous. They made it on the Ellen show and rocked. I feel that someone should be picking these two up and sign them to a record label. Check them out if you’ve never heard them sing before:

I’m very interested in vinyl records but I’m not sure if I want to start investing in them. I heard they are extremely easy to damage and they are also not the most portable (though if I do start buying vinyl I’ll probably get a record player that can convert to MP3.) I love the way they look and I’ve heard that they sound amazing. From what I’ve seen they are also more expensive than CDs, so I don’t want to start paying a lot for them if I’m really not sure. Opinions?

A record label may be wanting to use my art for their artist CD cover. What’s the ballpark amount recording labels pay for something like this?

I really want to become an R&B artist but I’m just graduating from High School and I don’t know what steps to take on how to get there…right now its like I’m just sitting and watching every music artist doing what I really want to do…I sing everyday, around the house, in the car, pretty much everywhere but I know it takes more than that to make it in the recording industry…I’m willing to get a vocal coach to make sure that my voice stays on point…but I don’t have any connections…I’m stuck and I don’t know how to get to my desired point…What should I do?? Where should I go?? How can I make my dream a reality??

Guys I just signed a NON-exclusive contract with a record label in the UK. However it seems like they will take a while to generate some income for me. I have sent them everything and its been almost a year and have not seen a dime. Any suggestions??
