It seems like they should all be sided A/B and C/D. It was explained to me once that if records are sided A/C and B/D, it’s so that a radio station could play the whole thing on two turntables with no breaks to flip the record, but A/D and B/C never made sense to me, because you still have to flip the second record to play continuously.
