Want to know how to start a record label that is similar to ICP and without being sued by them
What sort of percentage royalties do recording artists get from CD sales?
I assume that it varies depending on what sort of deal you have but what’s a typical percentage? If you fancy breaking down the CD cost into what would go to the retailer, label etc. then I’d be really interested to know. Do artists selling CDs at gigs take a larger percentage of sales?
