do radio stations pay the record label for playing a song each time?
I am majoring in Marketing and I am very interested in the music industry. Radio stations make money from advertisement but since they are using music that belongs to various record labels do they have to share some of the profits? if so how much? the music I am interested in marketing for is the urban/rhythmic/mainstream type.
How much do radio stations pay to play professional recording artists music on air?
How much do radio stations pay per song they play?? How do they get permission to play different songs??
